Welcome to Paramount Dog Training

My history with dog training began over a decade ago, with my pet "Sluggo". A Siberian Husky from my local Protective League. An impulse purchase, of course. Knowing nothing about the breed or it's needs, I bought him because of his beautiful appearance. Needless to say the next years were spent in disappointment due to all the obvious needs of a Siberian Husky. I did EVERYTHING wrong in my approach to Sluggo and I paid the price. Chewed furniture, soiled carpets, "dog at large" fines from the dog warden... Sluggo taught me many things about dog pack behavior, temperament and most important, about my true lack of understanding dog behavior. I began a quest of learning about these things and to date I am still learning. Sluggo passed away before I could share my understanding, but I have dedicated my study and this site to him and helping those who suffer the way I did.

In addition to being a graduate of National K9 in Columbus Ohio, I had the good fortune of training under several mentors, who opened up the world of dog behavior to me. I have spent many years learning and training through research, training conferences and studying under respected trainers. I have done the work and research, your dog will reap the rewards!
