Trainer Course

This is a 130 hour, one on one, private course dealing with all stages of dog training, rehabilitation and behavior modification. It is for select people wishing to work in any facet of dog behavior. This course includes bookwork and lecture, shadowing and hands on participation in:

Evaluation of a dogs temperament, trainability and psychology
Conducting in person client consultations
The art of reading dog posture(body language)of all age and temperament
Teaching and troubleshooting basic and advanced obedience commands
Proper use and troubleshooting of all training equipment
Radio collar selection, and use
Understanding and conquering any behavior problem
Identifying and treating health issues
Hands on training with all breeds, puppies through adulthood
Establishing marketing and maintaining a successful dog training business
Follow up support after graduation
